Jennifer Burnett is a Henry Award-winning actress and internationally touring vocalist whose dynamic presence has captivated audiences on stages large and small. Known for her range, heart, and unmistakable voice, Jennifer’s career spans musical theatre, vocal artistry, television, radio, and original songwriting, with each project rooted in deep emotional truth and artistic integrity.
She received the Colorado Theatre Guild’s Henry Award for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Musical for her hilariously commanding turn as Eulalie MacKecknie Shinn in The Music Man, and previously earned a nomination for her grounded, gritty portrayal of Mrs. Mullin in Carousel. She has earned a third nomination in 2025 for her tour-de-force 2024 performance in Cabaret as Fraulein Schneider. Her versatility shines in a wide range of roles, from the deliciously twisted Miss Hannigan in Annie to the flamboyant Velma Von Tussle in Hairspray, the whimsical Mrs. Tottendale in The Drowsy Chaperone, and the heartfelt Rhetta in Pump Boys and Dinettes.
Among her most cherished roles is Fraulein Schneider in Cabaret, a career-defining performance that blended vulnerability, wisdom, and emotional weight. Other notable credits include Beehive: The 60s Musical (national tour), Nunsense (Mother Superior, Sister Robert Anne, Sister Mary Leo), and leading roles in I Am Alive, You Can’t Take It With You, Pride & Prejudice, and All Shook Up.
Jennifer’s vocal artistry is equally celebrated. She began recording professionally at age 13, releasing her debut self-titled album in Nashville. Since then, she has released three additional albums: One Small Miracle (which received the Positive Music Association’s Seal of Approval), Colors of Love, and the cast recording of I Am Alive. Her music and storytelling were featured in a TEDx performance, where she combined original songs with personal narrative—a highlight that continues to resonate with audiences seeking inspiration and authenticity.
Her career has taken her around the globe, with performances in Korea, Japan, Guam, Turkey, Italy, Spain, Greece, and across the United States. She has sung for ambassadors, performed at celebrity weddings (including those of William H. Macy & Felicity Huffman, and Tim Allen & Jane Hajduk), and shared the stage with music legends. She performed backup for Kenny Loggins in concert, sang alongside him at a church event, and was honored to perform at the Inaugural Ball for President George W. Bush.
Jennifer's voice has also been heard in commercials for InnovAge, Red Robin, McDonald’s, Nissan, the Colorado Lottery, and more. She hosted a television talk show, Entertainment Spotlight, at just 15 years old, signaling a lifelong commitment to connecting with audiences.
As Artistic Director at Mile Hi Church for over two decades, Jennifer created and directed thousands of services, performing as a soloist in more than 1,000 and mentoring performers and speakers of all ages. Her leadership and artistry earned her the 2022 Centers for Spiritual Living Arts Award—an international honor recognizing her contribution to spiritual arts within a global organization.
